As a pediatrician, I observe children all day, every day. The ones I’ve watched most closely are my own, of course. As an amateur photographer, I love to capture those little moments that become memories, the small times that all add up to what we call life. This photo of my daughter offering me her hard-earned green seaglass after much searching on the Jersey Shore represents one of those moments.
Lawrence Rosen, MD is an integrative pediatrician and founder of the Whole Child Center in Northern NJ. He co-founded the AAP Section on Integrative Medicine and received the AAP’s Pioneer in Integrative Medicine award in 2015. Dr. Rosen is the co-author of “Treatment Alternatives for Children.” A graduate of New York Medical College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he completed his residency and chief residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Rosen’s other interests include yoga, music and photography. Most importantly, he is happily married to the love of his life and the proud father of two amazing children.
